Course Content:
This American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) course teaches participants to recognize life-threatening emergencies and perform high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants. Students receive hands-on training with AED use and team-based response skills, following current AHA evidence-based guidelines to ensure confident, effective action when seconds matter.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Recognize cardiopulmonary emergencies
Perform high-quality single-rescuer and team CPR
Safely use an AED
Successfully manage airway and ventilations
Improve team dynamics and communication during resuscitation
Manage acute dysrhythmias, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS)
Three Course Options:
Instructor-led Classroom - All learning is in person with an AHA instructor.
Blended Learning (HeartCode BLS)- Students complete the online cognitive portion (1–2 hours) at their own pace. Followed by a hands-on skills session (1–2 hours) with an AHA instructor.
Self-Guided Learning - Students complete the online cognitive portion independently. Then attend a hands-on skills session at an approved CPR Verification Station.
ACLS Provider Certification & Renewal

Course Content:
The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Provider Certification and Renewal course equips healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to manage complex cardiac and respiratory emergencies. Based on current American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines, the course covers high-quality CPR, rhythm recognition, airway management, IV/IO access, emergency medications, and effective team dynamics through hands-on practice and realistic, scenario-based training.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Recognize and manage peri-arrest conditions and cardiac arrest scenarios.
Apply ACLS algorithms for cardiac emergencies, including ischemic chest pain and acute coronary syndromes.
Interpret electrocardiograms (EKGs) and use emergency pharmacology effectively.
Perform team-based resuscitation, including leadership and communication skills.
Integrate BLS with advanced interventions to improve patient outcomes.
Three course options:
Initial Provider 1 ½ day class for those with no current AHA ACLS card
ACLS Update (Renewal) 1 day class for those whose AHA ACLS card has NOT expired
ACLS Heartcode is a hybrid version with 8 hours of online didactic followed by in-person skills session ~ 2 hours; applicable whether or not the individual has a current ACLS card
PALS Provider Certification & Renewal

Course Content:
The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Certification and Renewal course prepares healthcare professionals to recognize and manage critically ill infants and children. Based on current American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines, the course focuses on pediatric assessment, high-quality CPR, airway and respiratory management, cardiac rhythms, emergency medications, and effective team dynamics through hands-on, scenario-based training.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Perform systematic pediatric assessment.
Apply basic and advanced life support techniques.
Recognize and manage respiratory emergencies, shock, arrhythmias, and cardiopulmonary arrest.
Use high-performance team dynamics to improve patient care.
Follow AHA treatment algorithms and local protocols.
Three course options:
Initial Provider 1 ½ day class for those with no current AHA PALS card
PALS Update (Renewal) 1 day class for those whose AHA PALS card has NOT expired

Course Content:
The Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS) course trains healthcare professionals to rapidly recognize, assess, and manage acute stroke emergencies. Based on American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines, the course emphasizes early identification, neurologic assessment, imaging interpretation, time-sensitive decision-making, and coordinated team care to improve stroke outcomes from first contact through hospital management.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Apply current stroke-care standards for prehospital and in-hospital management.
Perform neurologic assessments and stroke scale evaluations.
Use evidence-based protocols for acute stroke treatment.
Communicate stroke information effectively to receiving facilities.
Manage post-acute care, rehabilitation, and discharge planning
Three course tracks:
Prehospital Provider Course – Focuses on recognizing stroke symptoms, calling stroke alerts, rapid transport, and clear communication of symptoms, onset time, and neurological exam findings to hospital teams.
In-Hospital Provider Course – Emphasizes an organized approach to stroke care, etiologic evaluation, secondary prevention, management of acute ischemic stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, and subarachnoid hemorrhage, plus post-acute care planning.
Prehospital & In-Hospital Provider Course – Combines both tracks, suitable for providers working in both settings or as ASLS instructor candidates.

Course Content:
The Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS®) course prepares healthcare providers to identify and manage pediatric patients at risk for clinical deterioration. Based on American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines, the course focuses on systematic pediatric assessment, early recognition of respiratory distress, shock, and cardiac emergencies, and effective stabilization using team-based, scenario-driven training.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to conduct:
Pediatric assessment and recognition of early signs of respiratory failure and shock.
Recognition and management of respiratory compromise and arrest.
Recognition and management of circulatory compromise and arrest.
Shock recognition and management.
Resuscitation team concept and teamwork in pediatric emergencies.
