PALS Provider Certification & Renewal

The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Certification and Renewal course prepares healthcare professionals to recognize and manage critically ill infants and children. Based on current American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines, the course focuses on pediatric assessment, high-quality CPR, airway and respiratory management, cardiac rhythms, emergency medications, and effective team dynamics through hands-on, scenario-based training.

There are three course options:

1. Initial Provider 1 ½ day class for people with no current AHA PALS card

2. PALS Update (Renewal) 1 day class for people whose AHA PALS card has NOT expired

3. PALS Heartcode is a hybrid version with 8 hours of online didactic followed by in-person skills session ~ 2 hours; applicable whether or not the individual has a current PALS card
