ACLS Provider [1-1/2 Day]

ACLS Renewal [1 Day]
ACLS Provider & Renewal Course Prerequisites

Participants need to bring their copy of the ACLS Provider Manual

Participants must complete the pre-test with a minimum score of 70% and submit a copy of their test score sheet prior to class (the test can be taken more than once).

We are not allowed to admit anyone without a current ACLS Provider Manual or a pre-test score less than 70%

Update/Renewal -- Attendees must send a copy of their unexpired AHA ACLS card prior to class to be admitted
Heartcode® ACLS Online & 1/2 Day Skills Session
-
This course combines online self-study by completing the AHA didactic & simulations online, followed by a skills session with an AHA instructor
-
Can be taken by professionals with or without a current ACLS card
-
Course Fee: $135 (must purchase & complete AHA online Heartcode course prior to skills sessions)

Heartcode Course Requirements & Prerequisites

Obtain Heartcode ACLS access key(s) from AHA’s online store

Online part must be completed prior to scheduled class, includes written exam

Certificate of completion for online part required to attend skills checkoff, must submit prior to skills session

Attend live skills session with an ACLS instructor

ACLS COURSE CONTENT

Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED

Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest

Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia
